Susan Sculley: Physical Therapy Assistant - I was born and raised in Wichita, KS. Later, I graduated from Black Hawk College in Moline, IL in 2000 with an Associate of Science Physical Therapy Assistant degree. I have experience in a variety of clinical settings including Hospital, Skilled Rehabilitation, Home Health and Outpatient Clinics. I have worked with Jay, our owner, since 2003. I became employed by Marquette Physical Therapy in 2007 and I became certified in the Graston Technique© in 2012. I enjoy working with patients of all ages, but have found that my experience in skilled rehab settings has provided me with treatment techniques and patience that are especially beneficial to the older adult patients. My husband and I reside in Douglas County and in my spare time I enjoy spending time with family and friends and participating in a variety of outdoor activities such as camping and canoeing.

Integrity, Knowledge & Compassion...
Jay Marquette, RPT: Physical Therapist, CEO/Owner - I was born and raised in Louisiana and moved to Coffeyville, KS at the beginning of high school where I met and eventually married my high school sweetheart, Monique. I attended a year of study at Coffeyville Community College on a full ride academic scholarship then furthered my education at University of Kansas where I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Education with an emphasis in Physical Therapy. While at KU I was a member of the Phi Kappa Psi fraternity and enjoyed many KU basketball games. Rock Chalk Jayhawk! While volunteering at a local clinic I discovered my love of physical therapy and decided to pursue my Masters in Physical Therapy at Wichita State. Therefore I consider myself a Shock Hawk. After working in private practice for 4 years I then took a regional management position for a long term care rehabilitation company for 3 years. I missed direct patient care and decided to open my own clinic in January 2007. I now operate 2 clinic locations, DeSoto and Leawood where I treat all musculoskeletal injuries. I am certified M1 and M2 Graston Technique© which I use extensively in both clinics as the results enable our patients to return to their active lifestyles quickly and pain free. I love that our patients are given one on one treatment in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. In my free time I enjoy coaching my kids sports teams, watching KU basketball and staying connected to my community by being an active member of both the DeSoto and Leawood Chambers of Commerce.

Pepper: Clinic Mascot - I am a Lhasa-Poo and ljoined the Marquette Physical Therapy team in 2011 when my mom, Blair brought me to the office after a vet visit. I loved it at the clinic office so much that I became a full time employee after that. I am excited to come to work every day and interact with patients. Most of the day is spent sleeping in my basket, but I perk up around lunchtime when I may get a small treat from one of the therapists. I am especially good at putting everyone at ease about physical therapy as I have had physical therapy after surgery myself! I look forward to greeting you or maybe even getting a belly rub when you're here for one of your appointments.
